* Check that all exterior lighting is in working order.

* Clean up in the living room and kitchen. Make sure they're both
clear and free of any unneccassary clutter.
* Open all curtains and shades to let the sunshine in.
* The bettter organized a closet, the larger it appears. Now's the time
to box up those unwanted clothes and donate them to a charity.
* Check all lighting fixtures and lamps. Replace any bulbs and make
